It comes with a heavy heart to inform you that Mark Payne from Panattoni Development Company has passed away.

Please join us in the Memorial Service and Celebration of Life on October 13, 2022.

The day will center around Mark’s favorite place to be - the water, and it will be divided into two parts:

1. The spreading of the ashes at sea, and 2. The celebration of life/reception. You are invited to a portion of the ceremonies or both.

Here are the details:

Spreading of the Ashes (Boat portion) 9am-11am:

Meet at 9am at Newport Harbor Yacht Club (NYHC)

720 West Bay Avenue, Balboa, CA. 92661

People will be guided onto boats of NYHC members which will then form a procession out of the harbor and will anchor off the coast of Newport. A small ceremony will take place (every boat will be on the same radio frequency, so people will be able to hear a brief tribute to Mark). We will then spread his ashes and return to port around 11am.

Celebration of Life (Reception Portion) - 11am-2pm:

Meet at 11am at Newport Harbor Yacht Club (NYHC)

720 West Bay Avenue, Balboa, CA. 92661

https://www.nhyc.org/

Guests will head upstairs to the celebration of life reception. A few more people will speak, but this will mostly be a time that will allow people from different walks of Mark's life get to know one another by sharing stories. Those attending will laugh, cry, eat, drink, and share their mutual love of Mark.

Attire: If you want to join the memorial section, you must wear boat appropriate shoes or be willing to take your shoes off. Jeans ARE NOT permitted at the NHYC. Business casual is a good guideline; however, if you wish to dress up, that is fine.
